(1)
No trade union shall perform any act in furtherance of the purposes for which it has been formed unless such trade union is registered under this Act.
(2)
Any trade union or any officer or member thereof who contravenes the provisions of this section is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of $3,000.
