This Act may be cited as the Trade Marks Act.

Different days may be appointed for the different provisions of this Act or for different purposes of the same provision.

This Act applies to things done in or on the continental shelf

(being the area proclaimed by His Highness the Sultan on 30th June 1954 by the Continental Shelf Proclamation 1954) on a structure or vessel which is present there for purposes directly connected with the exploration of the seabed and its subsoil or with the exploitation of their natural resources, as it applies to things done in Brunei Darussalam.
