Section 2
In this Act -
'"intimidate" means to cause in the mind of a per-son a reasonable apprehension of injury to him or to any member of his family or to any of his depen-dants or of violence or damage to any person or property, and the expression "injury" includes in-jury to a person in respect of his business, occupa-tion, employment or other source of income, and includes any actionable wrong;
'"lock-out" means the closing of a place of employ-ment, or the suspension of work, or the refusal by an employer to continue to employ any number of persons employed by him in consequence of a dis-pute, done with a view to compelling those per-sons, or to aid another employer in compelling persons employed by him, to accept terms or con-ditions of or affecting employment;
"registered" means registered under the Trade
Unions Act;
"strike" means the cessation of work by a body of persons employed, acting in combination, or a

Trade Disputes concerted refusal or a refusal under a common understanding of any number of persons employed to continue work for an employer in consequence of a dispute, done as a means of compelling their employer or any person or body of persons em-ployed, or to aid other workers in compelling their employer or any person or body of persons em-ployed, to accept or not to accept terms or condi-tions of or affecting employment;
"trade dispute" means any dispute between em-ployers and workers, or between workers and workers connected with the employment or non-employment, or the terms of the employment or with the conditions of any person;
"trade union" means any combination whether temporary or permanent the principal purposes of which are under its constitution the regulation of the relations between worker and employers, or between workers and workers or between em-ployers and employers, whether such combination would or would not if this Act had not been enacted have been deemed to have been an unlaw-ful combityition by reason of some one or more of its purposes being in restraint of trade;
"tribunal" means a tribunal appointed and consti-tuted in accordance with the provisions of section 19;
"worker" means any person who has entered into or works under a contract with an employer in any capacity, whether the contract is express or im-plied, oral or in writing and whether it is a contract of service or of apprenticeship or a contract perso-nally to execute any work or labour and includes any person ordinarily employed under any such contract whether such person is or is not in em-ployment at any particular time.
