The Telecommunications Act (Chapter 54) was repealed* by the Telecommunications Order, 2001 (S 38/2001)
with effect from 1st April 2006**
* The subsidiary legislation made under the Telecommunications Act was saved by section 79(2) of the
Telecommunications Order, 2001
** The notification of commencement made under section 1(1) of the Telecommunications Order, 2001 was published in No. S 33 of 2006
