Section 47

No person shall carry on takaful business in Brunei Darussalam as takaful agent for any takaful operator not entitled under this Order to carry on the business in question in Brunei

Darussalam and any person who contravenes this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both, and in the case of a continuing offence to a further fine not exceeding $4,000

for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
