Section 28
The Chief Syar’ie Judge may, with the approval of His Majesty the
Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make Rules of Court —
(a)
for regulating the practice and procedure of the Syariah
Courts;
(aa) prescribing the scales of allowances, costs and fees to be taken, paid or refunded to any party or witness in any proceedings in the Syariah Courts, and to regulating any matters relating to the costs of such proceedings;
(b)
to provide for the procedure, qualifications and fees for admission of Syar’ie Lawyers;
(c)
to regulate, control and supervise the conduct of Syar’ie
Lawyers;
(d)
generally as he considers necessary or expedient for carrying into effect the provisions of this Act.
