Brunei Darussalam hereby makes the following ~egulations :-
These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic {Conversion of
Speed Limits to Metric System} Regulations, 1993.

Opening note
Brunei Darussalam hereby makes the following ~egulations :-
These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic {Conversion of
Speed Limits to Metric System} Regulations, 1993.
Wherever there appears in the First Schedule to the Road Traffic Act any figure or a combination of a figure and a word indicating the speed set out in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations, there shall be substituted therefor the figure or combination indicating the speed set out in the second column of the Schedule to these Regulations.
Wherever there appears in any subsidiary legislation made under the
Road Traffic Act any word, figure, abbreviation or any combination thereof indicating the speed set out in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations, there shall be substitued therefor the word, figure, abbreviation or combination indicating the speed set out in the second column of the Schedule to these Regulations.
