Section 221

Journal Vouchers shall be prepared by departments as soon as possible after the relevant transactions have arisen and shall be for-warded to the Treasury for examination~ numbering and posting in the accounts. Journal Vouchers in respect of any financial year must be submitted to the Treasury not later than the· end of March in the following year.
