Receipt forms shall be carefully checked by the Department when received from the Treasury and again by each officer receiving them. Such officer shall complete on the inside front cover of each ·

book of receipt forms a certificate in the following form : ''Examined by me this day and found to contain .................................... forms in

,,duplicate"

11triplicate" etc., as the case may be, consecutively numbered.'' Any error in the numbering or the quantity supplied or in the printing shall be reported immediately to the State Financial Of-ficer. If any errors are found after the book has been brought into use the receiving officer will be held responsible.
