Section 119

An officer who desires an advance when proceeding overseas on a course or on leave shall make application to the Head of his

Department. In such circumstances Heads of Departments are authorised to grant advances at their own discretion not exceeding one month's pay. No other advances shall be given without the specific prior authority of the State Financial Officer.
