Composition of offences

Section 14
(1)
The Competent Authority or any officer authorised by the
Competent Authority in writing in that behalf may compound any offence against this Act by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed that offence a sum of money not exceeding $1,000.
(2)
On payment of such sum of money, no further proceedings shall be taken against such person in respect of the offence.
