Control of import, export etc. of radioactive materials
(1)
No person shall, except under and in accordance with a licence -
(a)
import into. or export out of, Brunei Darussalam any radioactive material;
(b)
keep, have in his possession or under his control, or use any radioactive material;

(c)
manufacture, sell or otherwise deal in any radioactive material; or
(d)
transport any radioactive material.
(2)
Every person who sells any radioactive material shall immediately give notice of the sale to the Authority, together with the name, address and prescribed particulars of the person to whom it was sold, in such form and manner as may be determined by the Authority.
(3)
Every person who purchases any radioactive material shall immediately give notice of the purchase to the Authority, together with the name, address and prescribed particulars of the person from whom it was purchased, in such form and manner as may be determined by the Authority.
(4)
No person shall dispose of any radioactive material, whether in a working condition or otherwise, without the prior written approval of the
Authority.
(5)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction -
(a)
in the case of an individual, to a fine not exceeding $100,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or both;
(b)
in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $1 0,000,000.
(6)
Any person who contravenes subsection (2), (3) or (4) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction -
(a)
in the case of an individual, to a fine not exceeding $100,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or both; and
(b)
in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $1 0,000,000.
