Section 12

No person shall, except with the prior written approval of the

Authority and in accordance with such conditions as may be specified by the

Authority, dispose of or cause to be disposed of any radioactive waste.

Any person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or both.
