Section 44
Every such bond shall be in a penalty of double the amount under which the estate of the deceased person is sworn, unless the Probate Officer in any case thinks fit to direct the same to be reduced, in which case it shall be lawful for the Probate Officer to do so; and the Probate
Officer may also direct that more bonds than one shall be given so as to limit the liability of any surety to such amount as the Probate Officer thinks reasonable.

(1)
A list of all the property declared for the pur-Annexures poses of estate duty shall be annexed to the grant of probate or letters of administration.
(2)
A certified copy of the will shall be annexed to all grants of probate.
