Section 7

The Authority shall, on the recommendation of the Managing

Director, appoint Deputy Managing Directors of the Authority and designate one of the Deputy Managing Directors to be the deputy chief executive of the

Authority for a term not exceeding 2 years.

The Deputy Managing Directors shall be employees of the

Authority on such terms of office and conditions of service as the Board may decide.

Subject to this Act, a Deputy Managing Director shall perform such duties as may be determined by the Managing Director.

In the case of absence or incapacity of the Managing Director, the deputy chief executive shall, unless decided otherwise by the Authority in relation to a delegation under section 6(4), have all the powers of the

Managing Director under section 6(2) and (6), and all the duties of the

Managing Director under section 6(7).
