Section 41
Data Protection Appeal Panel and Data Protection Appeal Committee
of Personal Data Protection Order, 2025
( 1) There is established a Data Protection Appeal Panel consisting of -
{a} a Chairman; and
(b)
not more than thirty members, appointed by the Minister on the basis of their ability and experience in industry, commerce or administration or their professional qualifications or their suitability otherwise for appointment.
(2)
For the purpose of hearing any appeal under section 42, the Chairman of the Appeal Panel may nominate three or more members of the Appeal Panel, which may include the Chairman of the Appeal Panel, to constitute a Data
Protection Appeal Committee.
(3)
Schedule 6 has effect with respect to the Appeal Panel, Appeal
Committee and their members and the proceedings.
