Section 440
Whoever commits mischief, having made preparation for causing to any person -
(a)
death;
(b)
hurt;
Penal Code

(c)
wrongful restraint; or
(d)
fear of death, of hurt or of wrongful

restraint,

shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years and whipping with not less than 6 strokes.
