Mischief in protected place or place of worship

Section 427A
(1)
Whoever commits mischief -
(a)
in a protected place; or
(b)
to any building used as a place for worship. or any property therein.
shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years and whipping with not less than 4 strokes.
(2)
For the purposes of subsection (I), "protected place" means any place or premises declared to be a protected place in the Protected Areas and
Protected Places Act (Chapter 147).
