Certain laws not to be affected by this Code 5.

Nothing in this Code is intended to repeal, vary, suspend or affect any of the provisions of any special or local law or any of the provisions of any Act for punishing offences by officers, soldiers or constables in the military or police forces of Brunei Darussalam.

Application 5A.

The provisions of Chapters I, 11,111, IV, V and VA shall. save where the contrary intention appears, apply to any written law in force and to any a instrument made thereunder.
