Section 52
(1)
Subject to the law relating to the admissibility of evidence, any document or record that is obtained, provided or produced pursuant to a request made under this Order which is duly authenticated is admissible in evidence in any criminal proceedings.
(2)
A document or record duly authenticated for the purposes of subsection
(1)
if it purports to be signed or certified by a Judge, Magistrate or other judicial officer in or of that foreign country.
(3)
For the purposes of subsection (2), a document or record is deemed to be duly authenticated if an electronic signature (as defined in subsection (3) of section 54) is used.
(4)
Nothing in this section prevents the proof of any matter, or the admission in evidence of any document, in accordance with any other provision of this Order or of any other written law.
