Section 36

All moneys received by a Municipal Board by virtue of this or of any other Act shall be paid into the Treasury for the credit of the public revenue;

and all moneys entrusted to a Municipal Board by the Government for expenditure shall be applied by the Board for the purposes described in section 4 and in the execution of any other measures necessary to promote the health or convenience of the public and generally for the purposes of this

Act as may be deemed expedient by the Board and subject in all cases to the control and direction of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan in

Council.
