Section 179

Unless the context otherwise requires, any offence under this Order may be tried by a Court of a Magistrate and such Court shall, notwithstanding the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (Chapter 7) and any other written law, have jurisdiction to impose the maximum penalty provided for by this Order.
