Section 6
(1)
An action founded on tort shall not be brought after the expiration of 6 years from the date on which the cause of action accrued.
(2)
The time limit under subsection (1) shall not apply to an action for libel or slander, but no such action shall be brought after the expiration of 3 years from the date on which the cause of action accrued.
