Section 109
(1)
No wages shall be paid to any worker —
(a)
through the agency of any overseer; or
(b)
at or within any shop or store; or
(c)
at any place or premises where intoxicating liquors are sold, except with the prior approval of the Commissioner.
(2)
The payment of wages where made in cash shall be made on a working day only and at or near the work place, except as may be otherwise prescribed or provided for by collective agreement, arbitration award or where other arrangements known to the workers concerned are considered more appropriate.
Wages to be paid in legal tender.
