Section 11
(1)
A marriage in contravention of this Act shall not be registered under this Act.
(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1), a marriage solemnised in contravention of this Part but valid in accordance with the rules of Hukum
Syara’ may, subject to section 38(2), be registered under this Act by an order of the Court.
