Section 99
International trusts shall not be subject to the following enactments or rules of law in so far as they apply in and are in force in Brunei Darussalam –
(a)
any rule against or limiting accumulation of trust funds under sections 164, 165
or 166 of the Law of Property Act, 1925 of the United Kingdom; or
(b)
the rule of law prohibiting the limitation, after a life interest to an unborn person, of an interest in land to the unborn child or issue of an unborn person; or
(c)
any rule against perpetuities or against perpetual trusts, to the intent that an international trust may continue in perpetuity.
