Prisoners in lawful custody during transfer

Section 14
(1)
Where a prisoner is being transferred to or from
Brunei Darussalam under this Act, he is deemed to be in the lawful custody of the person duly authorised to accompany him during such transfer.
(2)
Where a prisoner referred to in subsection (1) escapes from such lawful custody, he may be arrested in any part of Brunei Darussalam in the same manner as a person escaping from custody under a warrant issued for his arrest in Brunei Darussalam.
