Section 111
(1)
An IBC may, by an instrument in writing, whether or not under its common seal, authorise a person, either generally or in respect of any specified matters, as its agent to act on behalf of the IBC and to execute contracts, deeds and other instruments on behalf of the
IBC.
(2)
A contract, deed or other instrument executed on behalf of the IBC by an agent appointed under subsection (1), in manner provided by section 107, is binding on the IBC and has the same effect as if it were under the IBC’s common seal (if any).
