Section 77
Every person detained in a detention camp shall do such work, not of a severe or irksome na
ture, if he so desires, provided that-
( a)
the total hours of work shall not ex
ceed eight in anyone day; and
(b)
no detained person shall be required to do any work (except such as may be necessary for keeping his room, furniture and utensils clean and the place of detention clean and in order and for the preparation of food)
on the weekly days of rest observed in the State of Brunei at that time being, or on any public holiday.
