Section 29
Where a Judge of an Intermediate Court is prevented for any reason whatsoever from concluding any proceeding, whether in the exercise of the criminal or civil jurisdiction of the court, any other Judge of an Intermediate
Court may, with the consent of the parties, proceed therewith and may give judgment therein, and in so doing, may act not only upon any further evidence adduced in the proceedings but also upon any evidence already received in so far as it had been recorded.
