Section 36

A policy owner may, within 14 days after the delivery of a life policy to him or, if delivered at his residence, to a person who is resident therein, return the policy to the insurer with an objection in writing to any term or condition of the policy and the insurer shall forthwith refund any premium which has been paid in respect of the policy which shall thereupon be cancelled.

For the purposes of this section, a policy shall be deemed to be returned to an insurer with an objection when the policy with the objection in writing are received by the insurer or are posted to the insurer by registered post.
