Medical examination and treatment

Section 8
(1)
The Director-General may require any person who is, or is suspected to be, a case or carrier or contact of an infectious disease to submit to medical examination or medical treatment at such times and at such hospital or other place, as the Director-General may determine.
(2)
If any person fails to comply with any requirements under this section —
(a)
that person is guilty of an offence; and
(b)
the Director-General may order the removal of that person to any hospital or other place where the person may be detained and
(if necessary) isolated until he has been medically examined or treated.
