Counterfoils and counterparts to be prima facie evidence
In any proceedings under this Act or at the hearing of any charge for an offence against this Act, any counterfoil or counterpart of any permit, pass or other document issued under this Act or any regulations made thereunder and purporting to be signed by the Controller or by a Deputy Controller,
Assistant Controller or Senior Immigration Officer, as the case may be, may be produced in evidence without further proof and shall as against the person relying upon such permit, pass or other document be prima facie evidence of the facts therein stated and shall unless the contrary be proved be presumed to be a true and complete statement of the facts in the permit, pass or other document to which it relates.
