Section 3
(1)
In this Act unless the context otherwise requires —
“court” means the High Court or a judge thereof when sitting in open court;
“judge” means a judge of the High Court sitting in chambers.
(2)
Any reference in this Act to “this Act” shall be deemed to include reference to any other law in force in Brunei Darussalam before the commencement of this Act, in relation to the guardianship of infants.
Welfare of infant to be paramount consideration.
