Section 26
Subject to the provisions of section 21 —
of Forest Act
(i)
whoever commits an offence against the provisions of section 19(b), (d) or (e) or against the provisions of section 7 and whoever kindles, keeps or carries any fire burning in contravention of section 20 or of any instructions to ensure the safety of reserved forests which the Director may notify in the manner prescribed by rule made under section 52(2)(v), is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine and imprisonment for 5 years;
(ii)
whoever commits an offence against the provisions of section 19(a) or (c) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine and imprisonment for one year;
(iii)
whoever commits an offence against the provisions of section 19(f) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine and imprisonment for one year;
(iv)
whoever commits an offence against the provisions of section 19(g) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine and imprisonment for one year.
