Section 22A
Where any land has ceased to be a reserved forest under section 22, the Minister shall, if he is satisfied that it is in the national interest to do so and having regard to —
(a)
the need for soil and water conservation and other environmental considerations;
(b)
the need to sustain timber production in order to meet the requirements of any forest industry;
(c)
the economic development of Brunei Darussalam; and
(d)
the availability of suitable land, constitute in accordance with section 5 any other land, of an approximately equal area, to be a reserved forest.
