Section 44

Any enforcement officer exercising any power or performing any duty under this Act may do so with the aid of such persons as he reasonably requires to assist him in doing so.

Any person called upon by any enforcement officer to assist him in the exercise of any of his powers or the performance of any of his duties under this Act shall not, without reasonable cause, refuse to render the assistance required and shall, when rendering that assistance, be deemed to be an enforcement officer.
