Section 44

The grant of any licence or permit for the purposes of this Part shall be in the absolute discretion of the Director.

Every licence or permit granted under this Part shall be subject to such conditions as the Director thinks fit to impose.

Every licence or permit granted under this Part, if it has not been cancelled under section 45, may, on the application of the holder of the licence or permit, be renewed by the Director subject to such conditions as he thinks fit to impose.

Every licence or permit shall, on payment of the prescribed fees, be valid for such period not exceeding 3 years as the Director may determine.

Any person who is aggrieved by any decision of the Director under this section may, within one month of being notified of the decision of the Director, appeal to the Minister whose decision shall be final.

Any person who contravenes any of the conditions of a licence or permit granted under this Part is guilty of an offence.
