Section 14

Any person who knowingly gives or causes to be given a false alarm of fire to the member or to the police is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or both.

For the purposes of this section, “false alarm of fire” includes a false call for the ambulance or other services provided by the member.
