Section 27 — Energy Efficiency (Standards and Labelling) Act

(a)

in relation to —

(i)

an application for registration made under section 8(2);

or

(ii)

the renewal of the registration made under section 12(5), makes or causes to be made any statement or declaration which is false or misleading in any material particular;

(b)

makes or causes to be made any entry in a record, register or other document required to be kept under this Act which to his knowledge is false or misleading in any material particular; or

(c)

in response to any request of the Authority under section 26, furnishes any document or information which to his knowledge is false or misleading in any material particular,

is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or both.
