Part-time employees

Section 88
(1)
In this Part, “part-time employee” means an employee who is required under his contract of service with an employer to work for less than 30 hours a week.
(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan and by notification published in the Gazette, declare that any employee or class of employee is not to be regarded as a part-time employee for the purposes of this Part.
