Section 74A

The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by order published in the Gazette, set the minimum wage rates in relation to any category, class or description of employees.

Any category, class or description of employee in respect of whom a minimum wage rate has been published under subsection (1) shall be remunerated by his employer in respect of work done under a contract of service at a rate which is not less than the minimum wage rate.
