Section 109
A certificate of registration as a teacher issued under section 105(1) or a permit to teach issued under section 108 shall be surrendered by the person to whom it was issued or by the person in whose possession it is, to the
Registrar General within 21 days of —
(a)
the revocation of the certificate or permit;

that person ceasing to teach in an educational institution for a continuous period exceeding 2 years or the death of that person;
(c)
a written demand by the Registrar General for the purpose of amendment, endorsement or replacement; or
(d)
the expiration of a permit’s period of validity.
