Section 25
(1)
Where an order has been made under subsection (2) of section 24, the person against whom it is made is guilty of an offence if he —
(a)
contravenes the order without reasonable excuse; or
(b)
in purported compliance with the order, produces or makes available any material known to him to be false or misleading in a material particular without —
(i)
indicating to the police officer or the officer of the
Bureau to whom the material is produced or made available that it is false or misleading, and the respect in which it is false or misleading; and
(ii)
providing correct information to the police officer or the officer of the Bureau if he is in possession of, or can reasonably acquire, the correct information.
(2)
A person guilty of an offence under subsection (1) is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, to a fine or both.
