Post mortem examination of body

Section 305
(1)
Upon receiving the information referred to in section 304, a medical officer or hospital assistant shall, as soon as practicable, make post mortem examination of the body of the deceased.
(2)
The medical officer or hospital assistant, if it is necessary in order to ascertain the cause of death, shall extend the examination to the dissection of the body and an analysis of any portion thereof, and may cause any portion thereof to be transmitted to the Director-General of Medical
Services.
