Police officer bound to report certain matters

Section 18
Every police officer and every District Officer shall forthwith communicate to the nearest Magistrate or police officer in charge of a police station any information which he may have or obtain respecting -
(a)
the occurrence of any sudden or unnatural death or of any death under suspicious circumstances;
(b)
the finding of the dead body of any person without it being known how such person came by his death.
