provides false or misleading information; or

otherwise fails to state a material fact in connection with such person’s obligations under this Part, including the obligation to make a suspicious transaction or currency transaction report, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of $20,000 and imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
