Section 177
Meaning of “educational establishment”, etc.
(1)
In this Order, “educational establishment” means –
(a)
any educational institution, as defined in section 2 of the Education Act
(Chapter 210); and

(b)
any other description of educational establishment specified for the purpose of this Part by order of the Minister responsible for education matters.
(2)
The Attorney General may by order provide that the provisions of this Part relating to educational establishments shall apply, with such modifications and adaptations as may be specified, to teachers who are employed to give instruction to pupils who are unable to attend an educational establishment.
(3)
In relation to an educational establishment, the expressions “teacher” and
“pupil” in this Part include, respectively, the person who gives and any person who receives instruction.
(4)
References in this Part to anything being done on behalf of an educational establishment are to its being done for the purpose of that establishment by any person.
