Power to refuse registration

Section 19A
Notwithstanding anything in this Act or any other written law, the
Registrar shall refuse to register the memorandum and the articles of a proposed company where he is satisfied that -
(a)
the proposed company is likely to be used for an unlawful purpose or for purposes prejudicial to public peace, welfare or good order in Brunei Darussalam; or
(b)
it would be contrary to national security or interests for the proposed company to be registered.
