Section 18
Magistrate to make order for demolition of structural contrivances for facilitating gaming
If it appears to a Magistrate upon the trial of any offence under this
Act that —
(a)
the place in or in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed is a common gaming house; and
(b)
the place is fitted or provided with any of the means or contrivances mentioned in section 17(1), he shall order the demolition and destruction of the staircases, doors and partitions, ladders, planks, platforms, posts, palings, bars, bolts and other things which appear to him to have been specially erected or constructed for the purpose of facilitating the carrying on of gaming on the premises.
